Sean (aka Gus) - male 3 yrs
Sean is a gorgeous tall lad who is 80+ pounds. He's extremely gentle, loves to ride in the car, take walks, play with his new squeaky toys and has a grand time running in the backyard. You will be amazed at his size and how agile and polite he is around the house. He adapted to his new environment quickly and is house acclimated.

Buddy - male 3 yrs

Summer - female 3 yrs
Summer is a very happy little girl who is blossoming as she learns about her new world and begins to trust
her foster parents to lead her. She wags her tail and gives wonderful kisses as she gains confidence. She
is beginning to take treats from a person's hand, she loves to play with her toys and is now looking for
guidance on learning new things.
Going forward, Summer will need a very special family who will have patience, lots of love, soft words
and a gentle hand to win her trust. The commitment to Summer will mean accepting her as she is and
understanding that it is going to take a while for her to feel secure enough to have any trust and sense of
security. She would do best in a quiet home with other canine friends to help show her the ropes. She
is house acclimated and cat friendly. No young children.

Daisy - female 10 yrs

Pearl - female 10½ yrs
Pearl is a Grand Dame! After her racing career ended she was shipped to a breeding farm where her job was to birth puppies. Her last litter was born in October 2001, after which, she sat neglected on a filthy breeding farm until last year when Bob and Marilyn Varnberg rescued her and took her to their Grey Haven farm. Miss Pearl was not a well girl and it has taken a full year for the Varnbergs
to nurse her back to good health. She is now well, happy and ready for that very
special forever home that doesn't discriminate because of age. Seniors need love
too! Ms. Pearl is being fostered in Wilmington, has become house acclimated and
taught that the soft cushy bed on the floor is all hers. She's a happy girl and leans on you when she is getting attention. Do you have room in your heart and home for Dame Pearl?

Yoyo - female 5 yrs
Where's YoYo? Well, she's been at her foster home becoming house acclimated, running in the back yard and giving everyone lots of love...her tail is constantly wagging. After running 155 races at the track she's now ready for her forever home. She loves taking walks, riding in the car and dinner time (Yum!).

Flora - female 5 yrs
Oh, sweet Flora! She a stunning girl with lots of personality, confidence and is very inquisitive. She adapted quickly to the house rules/manners. She a girl who knows what she wants, and being on the couch laying next to you is one of them. She'd love to spend Christmas in her forever home.

Pillar - female 3 yrs
Pillar (pronounced “Pe lar”) is a shy, quiet, petite girl who is gradually coming out of her shell. She now steals all the squeaky toys from the box and hoards them in her crate. For such a small girl she has quite a healthy appetite and not a crumb is left in her bowl. This little princess often stares at herself in the fireplace glass door, oh, such a pretty girl. She is looking for a rather quiet home with lots of love for her to continue building her confidence.
