Our adoptions all begin with a conversation. The information you give us about yourselves and your life style enables us to better select a dog or dogs which will fit well in your home. We ask that you come and meet the dogs at our events. We will give you an application to fill out. We can also mail or fax our application to you, or you can download a copy.
When the application process has been completed, we will do a home visit to be sure you, the greyhound, your existing pets and our representative are all comfortable with the selection. We ask that you be patient with the process. We have made a lifetime commitment to each greyhound that comes into our program and we ask that you do the same.
Our return rate is extremely low and we feel that is because we spend a great deal of time trying to insure the best placement possible for each dog. Living with a greyhound should be a joyful experience and we will assist you in anyway we can to make the adjustment period an easy one.
All of our dogs have been spayed or neutered, all vaccines have been given, they are checked for heartworm and parasites and any medical condition found has been treated. No dog will be adopted out until we feel they are medically and emotionally ready to go to their new home.
Our dogs live with us....they do not come to you from a kennel. We have done the transition between kennel dog and pet which will make your new greyhound's adjustment that much easier.
We will be in close contact with you during the first few weeks after we place your dog with you. We are available for all questions and will help you work through any issues which arise after placement.
