Greyhound Adoptions of Florida Northeast Chapter On-line Newsletter Special Edition: Greyhounds Reach the Beach 2005 - Dewey Beach Friday, October 7-Monday, October 10 Hello Everyone!! Are you planning on attending the Greyhounds Reach the Beach Celebration this year? The official web site is adopt-a-greyhound.org/dewey. Our group is attending and assisting in various capacities. If you decide to come (even if it is just for the day) please find our volunteers and say “Hello”! There will be a secret unveiling of a very special fundraiser item. This one has really high aspirations!!! The goal is REALLY BIG for the lovely old ladies that are too often forgotten. Please come by to see this in person and click here now to find out more. Some of the events you may wish to attend are as follows: Vendor Tents Open Friday 3-5, Saturday 10-5, Sunday 1-5 Walks on the beach begin at 8am each morning at Dewey Beach Visit the Beverage and Snack tent where proceeds directly benefit the dogs of GAF—run exclusively by GAF volunteers! We will be offering coffee, hot dogs, soda, water and snacks for your hound. Don't miss Greyhound Love and Wiggles Wags and Whiskers items in the tent. Proceeds benefit GAF. Greyhound Love has new decorative pillows, Christmas stockings, sweatshirts, t-shirts, note cards and other assorted wares. Wiggles Wags and Whiskers has patented no-pull harnesses, collars and coats.
